Im still a little hesitant to release everything since the assignment hasnt been graded yet, but heres some stuff that should be just fine, like a GPU render using solidworks Visualize, and a peek at the sketch for this thing.

The design needs some considerable rework before i make it. structurally theres a major issue with not having the two diagonal walls actually bridge, this is because the solution would have impacted the aesthetics of the model, but when i actually put this into practice, i plan to close that tiny little gap between the two triangular edges in picture 4. actually theres no reason i cant fill the entire thing up in the middle, less a hole or 2 for wires.

In practice the design will likely rely on residual support material but that gap will be bridged nontheless. after printing i wont take the internal support material, since it will be used to continue applying support. Ultimately though id like to make this from aluminium, or, at least reinforced with metal somehow.

Lastly, and most importantly, i need to find an easier name than “infinity dodecahedron”, tesseract might work but its overused for infinity shapes.
